I just got my new heads finished and here is the result. The heads have a 56 cc compression chamber which equates to 11.75:1 compression.
Flow: Exhaust - Intake
.100 - 54 - 70
.200 - 111 - 140
.300 - 148 - 203
.400 - 195 - 252
.500 - 242 - 284
.550 - 249 - 296
.600 - 252 - 303
Any thoughts? :yesnod:

Re: Flow numbers and stats on new heads... (Phil97SVT)
Phil,
Looks good, but flow numbers by themselves don’t mean much. :nono:
There’s MANY variables and all flow benches are different so you can’t really compare them at all :nonod:
Your 100% correct. I was posting numbers to add some information to the forum members. I will use this inconjuction with dyno graphs to make them make sense.

Re: Flow numbers and stats on new heads... (RobsC5)
NO NO NO, 11.75:1 is my all motor setup. I am probably going to 9.0:1 with the turbo which is down the road. Actually after calculating it I think it is going to be closer to 12.0:1.  :yesnod:

12.0:1   You are nuts dude :yesnod: I guess you should have no problems running your 10.9s with this heads with a good cam :yesnod: Good luck and keep us posted :seeya
Re: Flow numbers and stats on new heads... (Moundir)
Just for thought once I get the valve reliefs cut I am going to either a 232/232 .610 112lsa or a 234/230 .610 .610 112lsa. Maybe this will make some more horsepower.

FWIW..I just got back my heads from ARE and the #'s are very similiar..I'm running 31 degrees timing and the A/F is kinda lean at 13.1...I was thinking maybe Z06 injectors to fatten it up just a little..I'd like to be in the 12.7 range..
Re: Flow numbers and stats on new heads... (vstella)
Vince,
What kind of compression ratio are you running? From my old dyno pulls where I made 421/400 I am going up 1.2:1 in compression ratio and 20cfm on the intake and exhaust runners. Kinda makes ya think.
