Are you north Austin or South Austin. I am in Buda, far south. Magna flow recommends you get to San Marcos. Kinda strange. When I lived up north, there was austin Corvette ( or something like that) they were on Lamar, just south of Braker on the West hand side.

BTW, I would love to meet you somewhere and listen to what the Stingers sound like. I am tossed as to which system I plan to deploy. I am leaning towards the MagnaFlow straight through race mufflers with tips added.

Hope this helps.

I live pretty far south near Slaughter Lane...I think that Corvette place on N. Lamar is still there, but I have never heard anybody talk about it on the forum...I hear the install is pretty straight forward, but it requires a lift...something I don't have.

When I get them on I'll let you know.

Wonderful, thanks.

I am currently considering Magnaflow's recommendation in San Marcos for my install.

I live south of you. From slaughter, you would go south on Brodie to the end, then west on 1626 and follow the Elliot ranch signs. I have also seen a Red Z06 in this area with a nice exhaust system. ??? who ??? so you and I are right in the same area. Look forward to it. Feel free to email.

I always take my car to Corvette Country up north at Parmer and Mopac.
Their number is 835-6668. Talk to Donnie the service rep and John is the tech.

They just replaced my power steering rack and a wheel bearing and did a great job.

I had them install a cat back exhaust a while back and no problems.

R U the gentleman with the hollowed out stock mufflers? If so, can you tell me where you went and about what you paid to get the mufflers hollowed. I have called several muffler shops and no one wants to do it.

thank you.

BTW, sweet sounding machine. Is there anything else you have done to the exhaust system?
