Ok, so yes, I searched & searched. But now I need help. I recently aquired a nice set of C6 seats for dirt cheap. So here's where I need help. I want to install them in my C5, but obviously the connector is wrong. Like, so wrong it's insane. I think my driver seat has 6 pins, & this new seat has about 20. I have looked online & everyone recommends swapping the new seats onto the c5 tracks & using the c5 hardware. Good thought, apart from the typical c5 rock issue I have as well as I do not have the side pieces on my c5 seats that hold the controller. I'm wanting to upgrade to the new C6 controller as I like the cleanliness of it. Is there anyone here that has done it & would care to chime in? Any plug & play adapters by chance? I know I'm asking a lot, but a C6 seat connector pinout would be awesome as well if anyone happens to have access to a diagram? Thanks for your help!
Ok, so I did a bunch of digging. Still would like to get some help from someone who has done this swap before. I think I have the wiring figured out. I tested the passenger seat just now, & the power seat worked, but the lumbar/side bolsters did not. No movement at all. Does anyone have access to a C6 manual? I would really love to get those diagrams/pinouts.
Here's what I found:
Now, I have questions.
1) On the C6, pins A1 on both seats are ignition voltage. What is this used for? Is it for the easy access/entry? If so, I don't use it anyways so no biggie.
2) Also on the C6 seats, Pins B5 on both are Seat position sensors. What are these used for?
3) Since the passenger lumbar/bolsters did not work, is this because I missed something? Or do these just not work & I bought a faulty seat?
4) C6 driver seat has 3 battery positive voltage terminals. From what I gathered from kawal, pin A4 is power seat, pin A6 is heat/lumbar, so what is pin B3 used for?
