Has anyone else experienced an oxidation problem with the aluminum hats on BAER rotors.
I installed a set of Eradispeed plus +1 about a month ago. I soon noticed a white flakely substance growing on the rear aluminum hats. The stuff doesn't wipe off very well and I didn't want to use any chemicals until I talked with BEAR. Strange thing is that the fronts are in pristine condition
I assume the hats are anodized and while anodizing may not hold up forever, I would have expected more than a month.
My buddy has a similar set and he has the same problem, rears only.
I contacted BAER several times during the past week, but they are not respondinding.
These rotors are pretty expensive, I would expect a more durable finish and quicker response to a customer concern.
