I’ve researched this topic here and seem to have found opposing information. I’m interested in doing a mag shock delete but I read that programming out the computer code doesn’t work on the 2004. I’ve also noticed that the plugs that trick the cpu are not available for 2004.
I’ve found shocks for $440 or so and just installed one. But it turns out I need three more. I may sell the mag shock, change to bilsteins and roll like dat.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it possible to delete F45 on 2004?
Yes I had my '04 deprogrammed. Took the tech about 10 minutes (it was his first one). Didn't become effective until I also disconnected the battery for an hour. Be sure the plugs in the trunk are disconnected before beginning the process

What plugs are in the trunk? - ah, there is a module back there. Can somebody give me a sense of where in the trunk? Mine is a vert if that makes any difference.
Very good price. Downside is my understanding is that GM shocks are infamous for losing their nitrogen charge over time.
I need to get this right. I don't want to be installing and removing shocks more than once. I already replaced one shock with a mag shock for $440 - but now I'm going to sell it (or return it if I can) and get a set of non mag shocks.
I already need to have the AC fixed - this car is getting long in the tooth. But I'm keeping it.
