it clips onto the fuel feed line at the firewall to keep it from popping off... there should be another one where that same line connects to the fuel rails

that's on a c6 but it's the same... the hooked end goes into the big end of the line where it hooks to the rails and feed line at the firewall and the other end snaps over the line to hold everything together and keep it from popping off
