2003 Corvette brake pedal
If I let my foot slip off of the brake pedal, after applying the brakes, it makes a dull thud noise upon returning to its resting position. Is there some kind of a bushing or ? that is meant to muffle the noise? If so, mine may be in need of replacement.

Need assembly diagram of C5 brake pedal assy.
My 2004 has a somewhat similar feel/sound when using the brake pedal.
I suspect that there may be a bushing or some sort of pivot for the brake pedal as part of the hanging pedal assembly. Mine is a manual trans. so I do have a clutch pedal.
However, I can't seem to find any definitive diagram of the parts. Just a couple advertisements for brake pedal bushings at the local auto parts places.
