Wiring issues
I had a mishap back in the fall or 2017, the speed bleeder line for the clutch on my 2004 ruptured, spraying fluid onto the header. fluid caught fire, and set the o2 sensor harness on fire as well as the surrounding wires.
I was able to put the fire out, and have been driving the car with the damaged harness, and it is finally giving me a P0135 code for the heater circuit on that o2 sensor.
I am trying to figure out what other wires were damaged, and am having trouble figuring out what these other 4 wires go to.
The wires in question are 2 pairs of spiraled wires, they run next to the frame rail near the brake lines under the steering shaft. I believe these are the wires from the wheel speed sensors, but I am not sure. The wires are scorched badly, and I believe have grounded out to the header as well.
I am trying to find the right parts to order, and haven't been able to get the car up in the air to trace them.
I have the new o2 sensor ready to install, but am going to have to replace the connector on the car side of the harness as well.
