Default Window Regulator

My passenger side door is starting to make some serious "grinding" noises when going both up and down.

I am planning to replace the window regulator.. when looking up the part on gmpartsdirect and other gm parts sites it is saying that a special connector also needs to be ordered?

I am wondering if anyone who has had to do this repair is familiar with the additional connector that is needed? When looking at aftermarket options it is not mentioning this connector?

As always I appreciate everyones help.

I replaced my window regulator and did not have to purchase a special connector. https://www.ebay.com/i/132427066362?chn=ps
DIY:
I recommend purchasing extra door panel clips.

OK so I need some help... I am sure this is extremely basic for most everyone.

I have the old regulator out, new one in. Also mine did require the new connector which I had to splice together.

anyways I have the window back in but can not get it lined up properly. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and explain what the black line is on the bottom right side of the window is for? I am sure it is a guide but I can’t figure out where it is supposed to go to make the window line up?

My process to this point has been loosening the bolt and moving the window up/down/left/right and retightening. I’m sure there is a better way? Again I’m sure this is basic for many, this newbie appreciates the help.

Also I noticed that the left part of the window is not resting flush with the weather strip on the outside of the door where as the rear is? I am guessing there is something in this process I am missing?
