Steering Rack Removal??HELP!!
Trying to install a new cam, but I'm cluess as to how to remove the steering rack in order to get to the crank shaft balancer? :confused: Anybody out there who is willing to guide me through the procedure?

Never Mind I found it while doing a search. Thank God for search engines!! :yesnod: I do have one more question though, does the ABS pump need to be removed??

I found it easier to remove the bracket that supports the abs block. 4 small bolts and one big one (that the rack itself uses as well). The abs block can stay hanging by the stiff brake lines during the install.

Loosen the two 21MM bolts on the left side that support the engine cradle. Drive a picklefork or prybar into the gap by the front one. Try to lower the cradle about 1/2". It makes it SOOO much easier to fish it in and out.
