Water Pump Question
I have a leak that I can't find. Under the TB is wet and so are the belts.
It didn't leak after we did the HC, but it started after I "oops" overfilled the reservoir.
Does anyone think that it might be the water pump that needs replacing or just gaskets?

I would find the leak first (if you have not already done that) and if it was the water pump... I would replace both the Pump and gasket. My Water pump already went out and was replaced under warranty.

I'll agree on having to find the leak first, then you'll know what you need to do. I also have a 97 and my pump started leakng at about 40,000 miles from metal porsity. I takes some time to find this type of leak since it usually doesn't leak all the time, just when the conditions are right. I finally got the conditions right and was able to see the coolant come right through the aluminum and form drips on the bottom of the pump. When the drips come off they hit the belts and you can have coolant slung anywhere. I would take some time to find the leak.
