One Week after installing mine I got the message. Reread the directions and did the brown wire install. No further problems after 3+ years.

You talked me into it. I will go back in and perform the brown wire mod. I wonder why it's an option and not written into the instructions?

Richard told me afew years ago--it doesnt happen very often--Pull key wait 10 seconds--but almost all on vette forums say--i had to do the brown wire = I didnt do right away but got message next day--did brown wire 2 years ago--NOTIN since-
