Getting ready to change shocks on my '02 coupe. Can I "loosen", without uninstalling, the two reservoir tanks enough to clear the Lisle Tool on the front ends?

what tool are you referring to?... you should be able to remove the 10mm nuts holding each tank down and move it out of the way enough (without disconnecting anything) to get a socket on the upper shock nut, that's what I have always done
I watched the guy install my Z06 shocks a few weeks back. All he did was unbolt it and slide it over. Didn't take him 5 minutes to do both sides and nothing was disconnected.

The idea is that you can grip both the stem and the bolt at the same time, holding one still and turning the other. They work pretty well, as long as you have room. Changed shocks on my C6Z using it. You guys answered my question though. Looks like I could use a ratcheting wrench if worse comes to shove.
