I got my Eradispeeds and stainless steel brake lines installed yesterday. I also had the brake fluid flushed and Super Blue put in. I had no problems yesterday and I drove the car twice for about 15 miles. This morning I drive the car a few hundred yards and it starts throwing ABS/Trac Ctrl Sys codes. I turn the car off, crank it up and drive for over an hour. No codes. I drove home tonight and got no codes.
Should I check something? The car had long enough between trips today to cool down (about 4 hours).
Re: ABS Codes after SS Brake Line Install (NetJunkie)
Had the same thing on mine after the Goodridge SS line install (service abs/tractionsys messages), it disappeared a few days later and has thankfully never reappeared. I wish I could say I did something to fix it, but by the time I got around to trying things the problem was gone. :)

Jason,
What brand are they? Some have had issues that are correctable, some haven't.

Hey RG. Feel free to say "I told you so." because you did say some cause the car to throw codes. :)
These are GoodRidge lines from LAPD. I haven't pulled the exact codes yet.
GoodRidge are supposed to be the good ones. I have had them on for over a year with no codes. usually codes are thrown when either side of the line isn't making a good ground, I believe.
Re: ABS Codes after SS Brake Line Install (RG in Dallas)
I've driven it three times so far today and no codes yet. So we'll see. :)
Something is rubbing on my right front tire though. I hear it when I turn hard right. I noticed the line on that side is hanging diff than the left, so I'm about to put it up on the ramps and take a look.
Re: ABS Codes after SS Brake Line Install (NetJunkie)
Take an OHM Meter and check to see if the SS lines are grounded. Place one end of the probe at the frame and work your way down the line to the end. The Meter should max out all the way down. If you loose the ground on the line or at least at the end, then.... You will find out very quickly which line is not grounded correctly.
Either that or by a fluke (spelling) one of your wheel speed sensors decided to go out during the install.
