HELP!! Front Headlight lifts... bronze
Hi... we have a 1999 C5 Coupe... curious if its worth spending the extra money for a bronze geared refurbished headlamp lifter.... ??? the car is rarely driven and we want to do the correct thing... please advise

There are 2 type of headlight motors. The one that was factory installed from "1997 to early 2000" and the one from "late 2000 to 2004" (although they are interchangeable):
- The 97 to early 2000 motor assembly is all aluminum and has a removable side cover that is held on with 3 machine screws.
- The late 2000 to 2004 headlight motor assemblies are plastic and the side cover is glued on.

I bought the kit to replace and it turned out the pin just fell out of the arm. I replaced the pin but I have rodney's kit ready when needed.
