I want to mount an amp to a square of plywood on the veryical wall behind the passenger seat. I intend to glue or epoxy the wood to the wall and let the carpet cover the wood. What would be the product of choice to get the plywood to adhere to the wall. Short screws will be used to attach the amp to the wood through the carpet. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help.
If the total height of your amp(+ bracket you decide to make) is equal or less than 53mm it will fit no prob. Then you get a nice clean install and don't loose room for those broads with long sexy legs!
I did mine in the exact spot using a piece of peg board. Unfortunately, the leg room lost was an issue for me, so relocated mine (2 kickers) on the horizontal shelf behind the seats of my convertible.
More measurements tomorrow to see if it will fit under the seat. Access and adjustments would be easy if hung behind the seat. Amp is 2.0" tall. J L xd700/5v2.

Liquid nails worked fine to mount a 1/2" MDF board behind the seat for me. I've since moved it to under the passenger seat and would also suggest that route. Adjustment are not as easy but once your gains and crossover are setup you should never need to change it. The only concern I might have on certain amps is cooling if they are passively cooled.
