Fuel tank issue.
When I fill up the Vette ( without topping off) , when the nozzle clicks, some fuel gushes out of the neck of the tank. That has happened at more than one station. There has to be an issue because the fuel gauge does not mark full either, just a notch short.
I think the nozzle is clicking and spewing before the tank is full by a little bit and backflows into the neck and onto the fender.
Evap issue?
No codes either.
Short of not filling the car all the way, any fix for this ?

Mine has a habit of "clicking off early" but with out the splash.
I solve this my filling the tank on the slow fuel rate or just holding the handle and "feeling" when it is about to click off.
I dont know of a mechanical fix and I'm not sure I'd put any time or money into it.

that's a fuel dispenser problem....not a car problem
maybe the pump nozzle isn't in enough to crate the seal it needs to sense the "full pressure"
