'04 LS1, every morning that I take it out, 100 feet out of the driveway, I hear a bump from the right rear. Was told that it's the ABS recalibrating. Is that right?

I have had my C5 up in the air 3 times with techs who found nothing loose. Bump comes from right rear. I hope someone knows something about this.

This only happens in the morning when I leave, exactly 100 feet down my street, same spot every day, and not again until the next time I take it out.

Try this. Loosen and remove the nut on the axle on the right rear. Move axle slightly inward and regrease the splines on the axle stub that go into the hub carrier. Re install and torque the axle nut back to specs. Good chance this will fix it, had been a common problem for a while.

I have the same exact issue on my 2004 A4 Vert. It just started doing this. Were your axle nuts loose and was this the problem?
