C1255 - Suggestions?
2000 FRC manual trans, M code ABS
I have been getting a C1228 (RR excessive variation) off and on for a few months. Code would come on during the trip and then go away for a couple of weeks.
Monday on my way home from work, I got 5 new codes: C1232, C1233, C1234, C1235 (which say that all my wheel sensors just disconnected or shorted out) and C1255 (internal error). These new 5 codes do not clear. Checked ground connection there by the unit - all was good, but cleaned the post and replaced the splice pack with a new one just to be sure. Also cleaned the ABS motor ground connection that is underneath the splice pack. No change. Disconnected the main ABS harness connector and reconnected; no change.
Emailed ABSFixer - he does not service these units (pre-'01).
Looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience and what you did about it.
