Doing a c6z brake swap on my ‘00 coupe and wondering what brake lines to use. Already have rotors/calipers. Done a lot of research on this but all the threads i find on the forum are outdated and links to parts are no longer valid. Its my understanding that ss c5 brake lines will work just wondering

if you are willing to spend a little more Doug Rippie makes some really nice lines that work perfect on c6z brake swaps... they are made by goodridge and use -an fittings instead of banjo bolts

So since these attach to the caliper with an fittings you'll need to assemble the caliper end first and then the end which attaches to the hard line, right? Otherwise the line would have to twist as tightened, which it won't do... I think that's why banjo bolts came into use. I've not had any issues with them, is there one I don't know about?

there is a fitting that screws into the calipers and that is your attachment point for the -an side of the brake line... you will install that fitting first and then go ahead and mount the caliper if it isn't already mounted, if you are just swapping lines there's no need to remove the caliper... once that is done you can loosely install both ends of the line and get the angle you want in the line and then tighten the ends down
