Default Help with Code

Hey fellas, I am at a lost. After installing the FLP's system, I get a check engine light (P0137H) This happened after three weeks of the installation. It has to do with O2 Sensors. I checked all the connections and make sure they are not loose. So far, nothing is out of the ordinary from what I can see. Anyone else experienced this after installing your headers? Any leads would greatly appreciated. If not, I might have to bring it in to the dealer and have them check the wiring make sure its not faulty with the sensor or the wiring.

Thanks fellas.

I got that code before, I think it was because of a 'slow' O2 sensor. I was told to ignore it by my tuner. You can get rid of it with LS1 edit.

Slow O2? Could you be more specific about that please.

Thanks for the reply.

The code means the O2 sensor Bank1 sensor 2 (leftr rear) is not coming up to voltage (below 80 mv for at least 80 seconds or 420 mv for at least 10 seconds)

Several things can cause this.
Since you have an H in the code it is intermittent.
Is the lead from the sensor touching a hot header and shorting out? Also could there be an exhaust leak (sensor reads this as lean and puts out low voltage)? Or is the sensor itself is not firmly in place? Also the gasket has to be good.
Finally, the sensor itself could be bad.

Thanks Rich,

One more question, if the O2 Sensor (back side) is touching the top side of the car, will this also throw a codes?

Thanks
