I am having an issue with my ambient temperature readings.
They are about 6-10 degrees higher than what they actually should be.
Actual temperature is always less.
I bought and installed a new probe sensor and that didn't fix it. What else could it be ?
I would think the only thing that could cause this is the temp sensor which you already replaced. I did have the problem on my 98 and replacing sensor fixed it.
I wish there was a way to adjust the settings like my 99's ave. fuel mileage as it is way off.
I was working on my radio installing new peripherals, I unplugged the AC unit and moved it somewhere safe. When I got done putting everything back together about an hour later, the reading on the AC unit once reconnected pegged at 106F.
A short drive around the block and the outside temp has been reading the correct temp ever since.
I guess the AC head unit had to be unplugged and reset. So far, problem is solved for now.
