Default smoked clear depo turn signals and led choices

I saw some for sale on amazon and intend to get them, but I also need bulbs, how many bulbs are in there, just one or two? I am ignorant and what would you recommend? Something bright

Amazon Amazon

What are the sizes/etc...? What is the deal with switchbacks?

I have a hyper flash already installed (reason being I wanted to bypass the hazzard lights which fail)

There is one 4157 bulb for the DRL/Turn signal and one 194 bulb for the side marker light. You may want to check the condition of the 4157 sockets. It is not uncommon for these to get burnt and cause bad connections with the bulbs. If they are bad replace them. When going to LED 4157 replacements make sure the ones you get are not too tall to fit in your new housings! I do not remember how tall of a bulb they will take but there are LED replacements out there that will not fit.
Switch back LEDs are dual color LEDs. Usually white and yellow for our application.
the DRL will be white and flash yellow when you turn on the turn signal. You can see what they look like on a YouTube video.

I bought the exact same ones from Amazon. Very nice. My switchbacks failed real fast and were also causing hyperflash even with a bypass only on hazard function.
I re-installed my amber 4157. Although they are not switchbacks, but they look really nice in this housing as it has a built in prism effect the way it's molded. Much nicer than the stock look.

I left the sidemarker bulbs out of the corners, I think it looks much better with only the drl/turn signal lit up

The Switchbacks were not causing hyperflash. When a hyperflash harness is installed it only controls the turn signals and NOT the hazard function.

What do you mean your swtichbacks failed real fast? What condtion are your sockets in?

Sockets are clean as a whistle. My switchbacks, bought on Amazon as well, one was doing just fine and the other would flicker in DRL mode but not in white mode.
When I pulled them out, The hyperflash in the hazards stopped although the tail lights are LEDs.
8VETTE7 did the math, and there is enough load in the 4257s to stop the hazard hyperflash.
The flickering would also stop in turn signal mode in that one bulb.

I wonder what radio flyer uses as theirs seem much brighter but they are I think the same style housings, just that they can do extras like that led stripe at the bottom, not wanting to pay 300USD for corner lights lol...
