I had mine replace about 2 yrs ago with the "new" style.
Down to empty again...
I believe on the 03's its a computer reset or new style gas tank that allievates the fuel sending problems.
However, is the fix on 97-02's still putting in "new" units, which will eventually fail again?
I know of 2 guys who had a GM buyback due to their units failing 5 & 6 times.
What are most of you guys doing? Getting the replacements as long as its under warranty, or just monitoring your odometer, since there is not a real cure?
