Stiff ignition switch
Hey guys.
So my 2000 has been sitting in my shop for a couple weeks, waiting for me to get around to fixing a couple little things. I go to start it to move it onto the lift and the ignition switch turns kinda hard and then wants to stay in the start position. Had to turn it back to on position to stop the starter from cranking. Never had any issue with this before. Also my a/c and DIC didn't come on. Turned it on and off a few times and the a/c and DIC is coming on now but the switch still feels stiff. Is there an easy fix for this or do I need to replace the switch. Saw the tutorial on cleaning th contacts. Is this going to take care of the problem or is something else happening ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
