Default Replaced R/E and Tranny Fluids - Redline

I'm not saying it was the Redline fluids or that the GM fluids wouldn't produce the same results, but it runs like a different car!!! Every time I have done this, in other vehicles, I have had the same experience - all positive. It is quieter, the 6 speed is like butter (or at least cottage cheese) and I feel better because I also put mag plugs in all drains - Engine, Tranny and Differential - needed or not! I have 10,000 on my 2001. Just an FYI.

Did you buy that trans. and diff. Redline "kit" in the forum mall that comes with the magnetic plugs? Did you do the install yourself?

Patrick :)

Yes - the $80.00 kit and yes - myself. When I have to work under my car, I back it up on 4 ramps made with 2 x 12's. Each ramp is 3 - 2 x 12's stacked with the bottom one 12" longer than the second which is 12" longer than the top one. Each level was cut with a bevel and nailed together with chocks on the rear (rear ramps only!!). It takes hardly any time to place the ramps behind the 4 wheels, pull up a bit and the back up the ramps (1 level at a time for safety). This rases the car the thickness of 3 - 2 x 12's which is the most I can fit under the car.
