I know the corsa web site at one time said the x pipe was required, but it isn't, their exhaust will hook up to your stock h pipe.

Also, I have the xtreme. Drone is a subjective thing. Some people swear up and down that you won't get drone with any setup while you're running a corsa exhaust. I have an aftermarket cam and headers, with the corsa xtreme and I get what I would consider drone around 1700 or so rpms. That's the point where I'll feel a mild resonance in the cabin, where it feels like panels are almost vibrating. But it doesn't hang around and I can easily shift up or down to avoid it.
