Starter Issue
My friend and I finished up a couple of days work on my 03 Z06 and started it and it idled just fine. It shut off after I tapped the throttle.so I go to start again and I get. A metal grinding sound. It sounded like the starter wouldn't reset so that I could start again. Starter is about 6 months old and never an issue until then.
Any thoughts on this? Do I just replace starter or before I remove headers to install a new one is there something else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whenever running into a new issue after working on a car, first question is normally what did you work on last and could it be related to the work you did. With that in mind, what work did you just finish doing on your car?
