Default Install headers from top or bottom?

Hey guys, I picked up a set of TSP headers and a catless xpipe for my '04 c5 coupe. From people that have done it themselves, is it easier to install them from the top or the bottom? I should note that I have a scissor style garage lift that can raise the car about 3ft. Thanks in advance for the input, I can't wait to let my car scream! (it already has borla straight pipes lol)

Three feet of lift will be more than enough to slide them in through the bottom. I had no trouble with my LG Super Pros from underneath the car. A helper makes it easier but I did mine without any assistance.

When I installed my LT headers, I had to jacked up my car to about 24" or so set jack stand and installed it from the top then drop down with a help from a friend.

Also you may have to remove the starter to get some clearance on the passenger side. the driver side was a breeze in comparison.

Good luck.

I installed my TSP headers from the top. I think to make it easier for driver side i removed the alternator, ECT sensor and maybe even steering linkage to rack. Passenger Side I only removed valve cover. Just be sure not to get them caught on any wires or bang up any sensors down low.

1-7/8 ARH went in from bottom up on jack stands. Starter didn't have to come off but I did gently massage the air conditioner line over as far as it would go. Took the alternator off just to get some more room.
