I had the torque tube rebuilt around Feb, a few hundred miles later it started this noise. It went away after a few more hundred miles, about 4k miles later it has returned with a vengeance. I assume it's either clutch/torquetube, thoughts?
Could it be something in the console or any interior parts, such as dash making that sound?
Have you tried having the rear of car on jack stands so wheels can roll, try running car shifting through the gears?
If you did that, and no squeaky noises I would think that would eliminate torque tube clutch etc.
My 1994 Grand Am does that and I noticed the left side of dash wiggling, the top piece on very end, it didn't make that sound before, a screw or something fell out, but I never looked because it's a 1994 Grand Am! Lol
Try running through the gears with rear of car lifted and see.
