Has anyone tried putting a meth Injection system on their C5? If so did you see a difference in performance? Engine running cooler? Is it worth putting this in? I don't expect huge differences in performance but maybe a cooler smoother running car.
Any help in this system would be greatly appreciated.

I used it in the past and it does a good job of lowering intake temps and adding octane... the kit is still installed on my car but I'm not using it since I switched to e85... typically it is only used on forced induction cars, on a lightly modded n/a car I don't see any benefit
How does your car run on the E85? Is it a lot of work to make the conversion? How expensive is it? Is the Performance that much better? How is your milage now compared to before?
I'm thinking about adding a new exhaust system but I don't want to change the cam or open up the motor. Maybe a new intake too. What I'm wondering is what are the best and least intrusive work to do for the best results. Thanks for your help. I'm new to the LS motors and I'm not sure what to do for a great running car that is still dependable where I'm not having to work on it all the time to keep it running good. The old small block is easy for me but I don't want to throw a bunch of money at this one not knowing it as well as I do the other ones. Again I appreciate your help with this.

e85 isn't really a good idea on a stock/lightly modded car either... in my opinion the only time it's really worth doing is with forced induction, same with meth injection... I rebuilt my whole fuel system with compatible pumps, injectors, lines, etc... you can technically run ethanol through factory parts but it's corrossive so if left in the fuel system over extended periods of time it will start to rust internal parts of the fuel pump and injectors and cause problems... you will also need about a 30% larger fuel system, for example if your current fuel system is capable of supporting 500hp on pump gas you will need roughly 30% more injector and pump flow to make the same 500hp on ethanol and even larger if you wanted to make more power... mileage will also suffer because it requires more ethanol to produce the same energy as gas so there's no way around that... the main benefit of e85 is it's high octane and resistance to detonation which allows you to add more boost and ignition timing to make more power safely as opposed to regular pump gas... my car is tuned for it and runs great, I picked up about 50hp on my setup but that will vary from car to car depending on the setup and personally I won't go back to regular pump gas unless e85 becomes scarce or unavailable in my area... e85 concentration also varies a lot from pump to pump and different states... e85 is the mainstream word to use nowadays but in texas it's advertised as e85 on the pumps and if you read the fine print it can actually be as low as e70 with some states being even lower... you can buy a fuel tester or you can also use a graduated cylinder and water to test the content... there's a ton more I could type but I would suggest searching and reading about it if you are interested... in my opinion it would be a better idea to set a goal for the car whether that be a hp goal, 1/4 mile goal, basically whatever you want the car to be, and once you figure that out then you can plan the power mods accordingly... e85 is a great mod when needed but not a good place to start in my opinion

I knew about changing all of the components in the fuel system but didn't realize id have to change so many other things. I think that I'm going to stick with my plans for making it a healthy street car. ItsI a one owner car that was really well taken care of and it runs great. So a couple of little upgrades will be it for me. Thanks again for your information, I'm sure that others reading this will appreciate it also.
