I have a weird situation. I noticed that when I turn my steering wheel as far as it goes, practically all the steering fluid leaks out and dumps to the floor. What could the issue be? High pressure hose? Rack?
I looked underneath the car on the drivers side to find the high pressure hose and see if the plastic covering is soaked with oil but I can't for the life of me find this hose. Does anyone have a good picture of it's location viewed from the bottom of the car?

jack it up in the air and fill it with fluid then turn the wheels with the car running and look... the pressure line comes out of the bottom of the pump and then runs to the rack... the other line comes from the bottom of the reservoir and runs to the cooler if you have one and then back to the rack, one of those 2 lines is most likely the culprit

Thanks! I'll take a look again tomorrow if it's not raining. Otherwise I'd have to wait until next weekend.

oh, also squeeze the boots that cover the inner tie rods and make sure they aren't filled with fluid... there are seals behind there that can fail and leak

Thanks for this suggestion! Hopefully I am not leaking from the rack! If its just a hose, it would be easy to replace.
