Passenger side window is stuck in the up position. I've checked fuses and neither driver's nor passenger's side switches will lower the window. This window hardly ever is lowered if that is relevant. Does this sound like a motor?
Not using the window certainly contributes to the problem. There are several threads on the issue. Some, like me, were able to fix the problem at no cost. Are you getting a clicking sound like a relay activating when you push the button?
With key on in the ignition, hold the down button down and firmly hit the door panel above the grab handle or hit the bottom of the door with a rubber mallet.
I personally had the panel off the door and while a friend held the down button, I used a screwdriver handle to smack the back side of the motor. I had one recurrence after that and used the mallet on the bottom of the door trick. Since then, I make sure to cycle the wndows once-in-awhile. It has been 5+ years since I had a problem.
I think it is Bill Curlee that has a write up describing the disassembly of the motor and modifying the contacts.
Others simply replaced the regulator unit.
