Default Good slotted rotors??

I am soon going to replace the rotors and brake pads on my 99 coupe and was wondering who makes slotted rotors which are of high quality(i.e. don't warp, change color, wear quickly, etc)?

You can get the DBA in slotted only or with slots and holes.

You can see them online on page 48 AND 38 in the online catalog. Go to "shop online" then go to the bottom of the page and click on "shop now". At the top of the page click on page 48 or 38. Our "sport" rotors are the best in the industry and are the only (double-ball-milled) gas slotted rotors available. We found through thermal imaging that the leading edge will lift and prematurely wear the pads and indexing the slott to go across the vanes keeps the structural integrety of the rotor. We don't recommend cross-drilling the rotor, we've found that cross drilling weakens the rotor structure and they will warp and crack quicker. We are the one of the only companies thermal cycling the rotors by heating and freezing them which aligns the molecules (reduces warping) and hardens them for durability. We are getting approximately four times the rotor life over stock rotors in full racing applications. The pads will wear no different than using stock rotors yet giving better braking by cleaning the pad (even in rain) to keep more friction material contacting the rotor. I would also upgrade the pads from stock for more braking power, we offer different compounds for each individual driving style. We offer a whole "sport" upgrade kit on page 38 which retails @ $750.95 (the catalog price is wrong).

It's hard to beat the Eradispeeds. They cost a bit more than DBA, but they have a lifetime warranty against warping.

DBA's are nice for the $$. I think LGM was doing a GP on them. Did the GP ever go?? Might want to check into it as you can prob save a few more $$ on them  Here is a pic of mine. :D

Lou at LGM has been working on an affordable alternative to Baer. YOu might talk to him and see what he has come up with.

The enhanced and Eradispeed rotors are fine for street driving. If your going to road race, then go with an Baer/Alcon, Brembo, AP or a Wilwood setup. It's a matter of $$$....you really get what you pay for.....

Thanks for the input! I am planning on going down to Road Atlanta at some point to do some laps, so am not real interested in the BAER crossdrilled rotors. I like the durability better of the slotted rotors myself.
I'll decide something by the middle of November. If anyone else has any comments, just keep them coming!

Another name to consider is Dilusi ( http://www.dilusi.com ).

One cost effective way to get big powerful brakes is to get a big brake package up front (make sure they will fit your wheels) and Dilusi 13” rotors for the rear with the parking brake hat and use the stock front calipers in the rear. That will give you bigger brakes all around while maintaining proper brake bias and save you the cost of bigger rear calipers.

Regardless of what route you take, getting a DRM brake bias spring will transfer a little more braking effort to the rear which eliminates the nosedive when you hit the brakes hard. In addition, stainless steel brake lines will take the mushiness out of the brake pedal.

I just ordered the big brake package that LG Motorsports has put together. They are using Wildwood six piston calipers and don't require any modifications for a C5. Lou designed it to be just like the setup on his race car. You can see them this saturday at Texas Motorsports Ranch if you are in the area. They will be on my car.
Cheers
