Default Hey hyperflash guys ....

Ever since a couple years ago when I installed my modified halo twilights I have had ongoing hyper flash issues . Then I put LEDs up front so I can only assume my car was pissed . So good news members the hyper flash relay by Corvette Envy DOES work . Took me 15-20 minutes to install and was a cake job to put in . I have read mixed reviews on this part but wanted to clarify it works for me . Thanks good luck .

Got mine from Ebay too. Works fine, had very good install (easy to do) instructions too.

Question for you guys. I have one from Radio Flyer, and all bulbs have been changed to LED. Turn signals flash correctly, but hazards hyper flash. Is that normal?

The cost of parts is around $20-25. Wiring everything up takes 1-2 hours to do. A specialized crimp is required to crimp the connectors properly, at a cost of about $15-20. You can get by with regular crimpers and pliers, but it'll take significantly more time. If you're still interested, I can dig up the part numbers you would need and how to wire.

Hazards hyperflash because the hyperflash harness only takes over the turn signal portion, not the hazard portion. The hazard portion will hyperflash as 6 LED bulbs have lower power draw than 3 halogens.

If I am not mistaken the hazard flashers still use the original C5 flasher and not the hyper flash harness that is installed as a add on. I did the turn signal flasher bypass on my C5 when I first purchased my C5. I did the mod for less than $20.00 and also installed a electronic flasher to take care of the LED taillights and front LED turn signals. Works great!

Cut the pink and purple wires on the jumper harness that goes between the plug by the ignition switch and the hazard flasher. Put 2 spade connectors onto the wires from the harness side. Plug the flasher into the spade connectors.

The pink wire is the power, so if the flasher has any type of power marking (like an X on one terminal) plug the pink wire to that terminal.
