I replaced my leaking shocks with aftermarket Bilstein shocks and I'm getting the error that I guess is common when using the aftermarket shocks. How can I get this code to go away as its in "limp node" at a max speed of 80 mph. I have a 2003 50th anniversary corvette. I have searched and keep finding a lot of different people stating a lot of different reasons and it's hard to keep them all straight.

If you have the F45 or F55 shocks, then you need to get them tuned out of the computer/install resistors to mimic the shocks if you are not replacing them with the same shocks. Do a search using the key words delete F45 or delete F55 shocks and you should get some hits.
Meanwhile, I’m moving this to C5 Tech for more assistance.
Thank you, I will go and get these codes and update. I heard many people mention the Tech II and I am familiar with that machine. Once I have the codes I will reply as well as search for the other items.
Thank You

After you find someone with a Tech 2 follow these directions....
1. Hook up Tech 2, turn car on, make sure module in the rear is plugged in. Do not unplug the rear module.
2. Use Tech 2 to delete the F45 option (F55 does not appear on the menu screen, use F45).
3. Save new configuration.
4. Do not turn car off, do not remove Tech 2. Go to the module in the rear of the car, unplug the grey connector (the widest one), leave any other plug(s) in. [leave the other 1 (F45) or 2 (F55) plugged in]
5. Turn off car, leave Tech 2 plugged in.
6. Remove remaining plugs from module in the rear of car. [never plug them back in again, if you do the F45 turns on automatically]
7. Turn car on to verify the "max speed 80 mph" is gone.
8. Unplug Tech 2.
BTW the module is in the left rear cubby. Just pull the cover off it is held on with Velcro, IIRC
Just replaced my 2003 50th Anniversary shocks with 2007 C6 Z06 shocks using a Tech II Analyzer to deactivate the F55 suspension. Purchased shocks from "Summit Racing" and had my buddy (who owns a garage) delete the functionality.
