Service Steering Column Lock / Pull Key Wait 10 Seconds
Car dies when trying to go forward or in reverse. I think it is cutting the fuel off. If you wait 10 seconds sometimes it works and sometimes it dies. The steering wheel is always unlocked. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Several things can cause this to happen. The column lock or battery would be the most common but you need to investigate a little more. Do you get the pull key and wait message on the dic? What year is the car and is it auto or manual trans? Use the dic and pull the codes and post the results.

This is Rene’s Rage I had to log in from a different account. It’s a 98 with a automatic transmission. The column locks with the key out and unlocks with the key on. Where did you buy the LMC5 from and do I need a 4 wire or a 5 wire. Thanks in advance
