Default C5 Window Issue

Hello everyone,
I have an issue regarding my window I'm not sure what is causing the window to push the panel, but it's scratching my window tint.
Is it the window regulator being too tight? Or the panel itself? Or maybe something else that I'm not seeing?

Taking a guess here, but from what I see in your second pic, it looks like your inner seal is separating from the door panel.

From the picture it looks like a couple of things wrong, but hard to determine from the picture. I agree it looks like inner seal coming loose or broken, but it also looks like the door panel is not attached at the top. Big gap. Might need to take the door panel off to diagnose.

Looking again after the last two responses yes it looks like your window itself is badly maladjusted. That inner panel shouldn't even be in play when you got the window going up and down. You're supposed to be up against the outside and it should maintain that during the travel. You don't want dirt and grime getting down inside the door when the windows halfway down so you should maintain contact with the outer seal, albeit gently, all the time. You're going to have to take that inner door panel off and do the adjusting on the window regulator to fix that. A service manual is really your friend here.

I was working on something unrelated to the window inside my door one time and just happed to notice all of the bolt/nuts for the window regulator were loose. I am not sure if they came loose on there own or if it was someone else's shitty work. Good Luck
