Default X-Pipe question....

I always thought the X-Pipe replaced the stock H-Pipe in the exhaust, but, on the Breathless Performance Site, they have the X-pipe in between the cats and the stock H-Pipe.

You can see what I am referring to at this link:
http://www.breathlessperformance.com/products/107B.asp

What is the correct configuration?

I replaced the pipe with a Magna flo x-pipe and the H pipe was removed from the exhaust system.I would recommend removing the pipe from the cats to the mufflers and installing an after market x-pipe.the price for the installation of thex-pipe you are refering to with labor would be pretty close to a new x-pipe.I don't see any need for both,an Hpipe and the x-pipe.I am not an authority on exhausts but may be some one wuth more "in the know" could give you a professional opinion. :chevy :chevy :flag :flag :chevy :chevy

That one is almost the same one that I have but I got mine from A&A for less. Don't know why they have it like that in the pic, but I had my local muffler shop replace the stock h-pipe with the x-pipe.
