Headlight problem please help?
So when I start my car the headlights come on and up on their own, once started I can not turn them off. After I shut off the car I have to cycle the switch on n off then they shut, but only if the key is off. then after they shut they buss/grind but the headlights are all the way shut? buss/grinding could be motors but I have no idea what to try one the main problem.

The grinding is headlight motor gears that have gone bad. You can go to this thread and search for how to fix/replace headlight gears:

The headlights coming up automatically is the result of having the TWILIGHT feature turned on. Suggest you turn it off as it senselessly operates the headlights automatically when ever there are dark conditions such as in the garage and then SHOULD turn them OFF when you are in light conditions. Just wasting the headlight motors/gears which are a known weak point on the C5.
To turn off TWILIGHT press the OPTIONS button until you see TWILIGHT ON. The press the RESET button to turn OFF twilight.
