Your factory one will work just fine. It is designed to flow very high and unless your engine will live (continuously) about 6k rpms, you will be just fine. Consider saving a few bucks for something else.

LS1 Throttle Body next to LS2 Throttle Body

The LS1 throttle body is a three bolt design with a 78mm opening. FAST intakes require a four bolt throttle body. The LS2 throttle body is a four bolt design with a 90mm opening and will bolt right up to a FAST Intake, however, a wiring harness is required for the conversion. Cost of the wiring adapter is about $55.00. The LS2 throttle body will easily out perform the LS1 throttle body. I wouldn't do one without the other.

you will gain some power with the fast but the final number ultimately depends on how aggressive your setup is... if you only pick up 10hp that isn't enough to feel the difference and after the cost of parts and tuning it might not be worth it... that's what happens with n/a setups though, once you get the big things out of the way (heads/cam) you end up spending lots of money for minimal gains
