So is there aftermarket options for the center mount for the exhaust that uses springs to mount the exhaust to the transmission? Below is a C6 pic of what I am talking about (couldn't find a good C5 pic).
I ask for aftermarket because I've had the springs come lose twice, broke one spring, and now both tabs have ripped off the exhaust pipes... I just want a solid mount I can depend on - forget the damn springs because they are not working for me. I can probably take it to a shop and pay $300 to have a custom job done to fix it but if I can just find someone who makes an aftermarket part - I can do it myself easily.
Anyone have any suggestions beyond taking it to a shop?

I made a bracket that attached to the springs and then had bends on each end that were bolted to exhaust clamps that wrapped around the pipes without welding. Used no welding but attached perfectly. This way I didn't have to remove the pipes to re-weld the original brackets and then have them break off again. Recently back under the car and they seem to be working well. Fortunately the brackets didn't rip a hole into the pipes when they broke off. I'd send you a picture if it wasn't such a pain to get under my my car since it is lowered.
