I thought I would ask a question regarding the installation process on the BK Harness Bar. Everything is pretty straightforward except the 2 vertical bars that run alongside the waterfall area. Per the thread above he bolted the bars to the inside of the main bar image shown here:
However per Brey Krause installation instructions it says to bolt it to the outside of the bar shown here:
Which is the correct way or which way are most of you guys installing the bars? Only difference I notice by mounting them to the inside as shown on the thread is they make contact a bit with the plastic trim piece the main bar mounts alongside.

I have mounted three of the BK bars and all were installed according to the directions. When removing the bars on one car, to put in a roll cage, it came apart very easy. On another we had to rebuild the stock seat when the plastic shims were replaced with metal ones and again very easy to remove. The hardest part is using the wrench to hold the nut when adding or removing the bolt.
