Educate me; header diameter and heads....?
I`m after some advice for my track Z06.
It runs, what I understand to be quite a `large` cam with an unknown brand of headers, de-cat and std TI rear section.
Motor details, 2004 LS6 with LXL Lobe CompCam, 230/234 112 +4, PAC double springs with .660 lift, LS2 timing Chain, LS7 lifters, new pushrods, polished TB. I dyno'd it recently:

Issues; The exhaust is too loud for many UK tracks and without the cats and with leaking flanges its not very nice in the car!
I`m thinking about biting the bullet and just buying a new set of headers and X-pipe with a decent quality of flange and fitment.
Q - What diameter would be appropriate? I assume the 1 7/8 and 2 inch systems will cost torque at bottom and give power at top? With my hardware spec are these overkill? The dyno plot shows the power turning over around 6500RPM now. Also I think the peak torque is relatively low as well (I assume due the cam) with the current set-up.
It would be great if I could hold the power a little more and be shifting around 7200rpm. What would I need to make power reliably at 7000rpm. Is that do-able with a head swap and nothing else or is 7200rpm rods etc on these motors?
Many thanks for any info......
