Light and Cycle Key wait 10 secs
Good morning all I have a few problems maybe they are all related. I just purchased a few weeks ago my first C5 always had C4's. Ive been reading quite a few threads but no one seems to have the same symptoms as me.
Here are my symptoms
Started a few days ago
- when I unlock the car I have no vanity lights or even security light flashing on the dash nothing lights up
-the radio has lost its pre-sets and clock is back at 1200
- the car will start up no problem
-Yesterday while driving home the headlights where flickering on and off
-voltage is showing 14 volts ish
- this morning same thing no lights inside the car
- turned the key and nothing happened, turned the key on/off 3 time on the 3rd time the dash came on and it started but got
a cycle the key wait 10 secs message.
-was able to drive the car no issues
This car is new to me too so not sure if the CLB is installed. It is a manual car an I know that the battery was replaced.

Hi 8Vette7 thx for the info.
the car is a 1999 base M6 completely stock no headers
the battery is new and the connectors look new but will test the battery ASAP
I haven't pulled any codes will do it when i'm back from work
