Wife and I are going with a LS 7 clutch setup in our C 5, I thought at first the weight holes didn't match, then rethought and now seems right ??? any input ???
Not sure if this will help, but it's a data point nonetheless. When I upgraded to my LUK LS7 Clutch Kit I got from Amazon (Clutch,Flywheel, Pressure plate, bolts...etc.), it comes prebalanced. My mechanic did not do any other balancing, just installed. I have no out of the ordinary NVH from this outcome.

but I can tell ya that the ls7 clutch, Luk slave, and Ram aluminum flywheel combo feels EXACTLY like the oem ls6 clutch. I did have to shim the slave also, which moved the engagement point of the clutch pedal back to where it was with the factory setup. A ton of people are saying without the shim the engagement point is very close to the floor. I’ve got about 200 miles on it and need another 300 or so to get it broke in properly but it honestly feels like it’s a factory setup.
