Default Wide Band Cable

I have a 2000 Corvette that now has a Vortech V3 Si charger on it. My problem is that I don't know the best way to get the large cable for the wide-band into the drivers foot well. I know some people pull wires through the hood release grommet but this wide-band cable is very thick, with a largish connector on the end. I'm willing to drill a hole but its hard to tell where it is safe to drill. Does any have any more info or drawings that show where I could drill? Thanks.

If you have a 6sp car you can come up through the the tunnel area into the car, automatic i am not sure if the opening in the tunnel is the same.

I went through the shifter area as well, if you absolutely need to get it through the footwell you can drill a hole large enough for the connector to fit through and then use a firewall grommet and silicone to seal it up

I have to install a wide band cable as well. I saw it done on you tube where a hole was drilled a couple of inches under the hood release cable....then just seal up the hole....did not look like much of an issue at all..

You mean right under where the hood release passes through the firewall? Not on the side where the hood release handle is and out into the fender well?

Yes, what they did was remove the dead pedal and pulled the carpet down to reveal the cable through the firewall..Then they removed the driver side front wheel and removed the access panel in the wheel well. From there you can see then cable on the other side of the firewall...It looked pretty empty there and you can see where to drill without worry....
