Default Cam / Headers advice

Looking to add some additional power to my car. Looking for sound proven results in reference to a cam and headers package. May consider some head work but will definitely upgrade springs and push rods with cam.
This car will be a street warrior drag raced about twice a year. Want it to run with the LT1 Vettes. Need your advice on upgrades.

Thanks!!!

Most bank for the buck is a rear end gear change.

Thanks for the info and links. I've been reading threads for 2 days and wanted to get some proven results advice versus before install suggestions. I will read your links. I been accumulating a lot of information. Note: I am finding that a lot of the information from pre 2016 is no longer relevant because of cam technology and materials for the LS motors.
