Default Auto climate control forgets?

My 99 climate control will revert back to 68 degrees when I restart the car. I try to keep it at 73/75. How do I keep it there and does the passenger temp.**** affect this?

If you have memory seats, try adjusting the HVAC to the temp you want and then press and hold the memory button on the door.

Pretty sure that's only for permanent settings, not heat. Might be worth it for fun...

+1

From page 2-6 of the 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Owner’s Manual:

"MEMORY can store and recall the settings for the
driver’s seat position, the outside rearview mirror
positions, comfort control temperature, fan speed and
mode settings
, telescopic steering wheel (if equipped),
radio presets, tone, volume, playback mode
(AM/FM, tape or CD), last displayed station,
compact disc position and tape direction."
