Bouncing RPM needle during start/shutoff
I've gotten used to this by now, but it would be nice to fix it eventually: During either key-ON when the RPM and Speedometer gauges needles do their full swipe routine or immediately after shutting off the motor, the RPM needle bounces violently against the '0' marker until it settles. During regular operation the needle behaves perfectly; it's just annoying to see it bounce like that during key-ON or key-OFF. I'm eventually going to replace the gauge cluster backlight bulbs with a LED kit, so it could be an opportunity to fix this if I know what to look for. What could be causing this and is it fixable?
